Hussein Mudawi Baraka Holding Group started its activities as a family business in 1967 in a mini-shop in Omdurman Market working in retail and gross selling of commodities. Day after day the business expanded in the beginning of the Eighties of last century as the mini-shop became an integrated commercial entity working in all commercial businesses. In 1996 the company was officially registered at the commercial registrar general as a private company accompanied by considerable expansion in importing and exporting of goods from all countries including China, Thailand, India, and the United Arab Emirates.
